Internship - Operational Logistics Operations Management (all genders welcome)Work EnvironmentThe Neckarsulm Operational Logistics Operations Management area of responsibility covers the material flow chain starting with the supplier, receipt of the goods, storage of the material in various modern automated and manual warehouses, provision at the installation site for the Audi A4, A5, A6, A7 and A8 cars, and on through to the return of reusable packaging.We design new logistical processes and optimize existing ones in cooperation with upstream and downstream departments as well as suppliers and service providers. We develop and plan new material supply systems in line with existing operational structures.As operations management, we plan and optimize in particular the information and material flow processes of Operational Logistics with regard to quality and productivity. We are therefore the Operational Logistics department with the most extensive range of tasks. Our core tasks include supporting numerous service providers, developing qualification measures for operational employees and managing approx. 1,200 European suppliers.
