Internship - Operational Logistics (all genders welcome)Work EnvironmentThe Neckarsulm Operational Logistics area of responsibility covers the material flow chain starting with the supplier, receipt of the goods, storage of the material in various modern automated and manual warehouses, provision at the installation site for the Audi A4, A5, A6, A7 and A8 cars, and on through to the return of reusable packaging.We design new logistical processes and optimize existing ones in cooperation with upstream and downstream departments as well as suppliers and service providers. We develop and plan new material supply systems in line with existing operational structures.As assembly logistics we handle approx. 170 ranges with 127,000 picks per workday in our supermarkets covering an area of 18,000 m² and ensure customized provision at the installation site. The sequencing is supported by a wide variety of picking systems including pick-by-light or pick-by-voice. In addition, efficient logistics processes and the use of modern delivery concepts such as just-in-sequence and pearl chain enable us to provide our customers with a safe, reliable supply of products optimized for installation and for the production site.
