Internship – Goods Receipt/Automatic Warehouse (all genders welcome)Work EnvironmentThe Neckarsulm Operational Logistics Goods Receipt/Automatic Warehouse area of responsibility covers the material flow chain starting with the supplier, receipt of the goods, storage of the material in various modern automated and manual warehouses, outgoing goods for provision to the assembly line for the Audi A4, A5, A6, A7 and A8 cars, and on through to the return of reusable packaging.We design new logistical processes and optimize existing ones in cooperation with upstream and downstream departments as well as suppliers and service providers. We develop and plan new material supply systems in line with existing operational structures.Our core business includes management of tucks delivering to the Audi plant and the associated unloading in the central goods receiving area. We also manage an automated small parts warehouse in a hall area of 15,200 square meters, which offers storage space for approx. 160,000 small load carriers.
