Tätigkeitsbeschreibung
Initiate and drive world-wide pooling activities to ensure optimum use of purchasing power to maximize contribution to operating result
Responsible for Purchasing Volume of 65 Mio €
Drive sourcing process on assigned suppliers / locations incl. supplier selection
Define and implement a category strategy in alignment with Category Management and the requirements of Business Unit
Carry out price, condition and contract negotiations leading to bilateral acceptance in order to guarantee uninterrupted supply at optimum conditions
Compile, prepare and present results related to strategies, sourcing issues, etc. to Senior Management and Business Units
Perform global market research
Represent Category MEI internally and externally, according to prior agreement
Prime contact person within Category regarding implementation of “Advanced Negotiation Concepts”
Pro-active set up and support of efficient supplier management within a cross-functional team
Continuously develop and improve supplier relationship and performance
Act as escalation level for plant purchasing
Support planning, controlling and reporting of objectives within defined area of responsibility
Define counter-measures in case of deviations in order to achieve targets within area of responsibility
Anforderungen
Academic degree in Engineering, Business Studies, Economics Science or Economics
3 years of work experience
Expert experience in working with MS Office
Intermediate experience in working with SAP R/3
Expert language skills in English and German (written and spoken)
Intercultural experience
