For our Life Science Team Europe & North America we are currently seeking a:
Sales Development Manager (m/f)
Main tasks of the position:
Drive sales development for our Next Generation Sequencing portfolio
Expand NGS applications in conjunction with regional sales managers
Develop key opinion leaders and reference accounts/ strategic partners
Lead the line as point person for sales in this exciting sector
Provide real time market feedback on competition to marketing in order to drive positioning
Support field tests by local support of high profile customers
Have real time customer knowledge in markets to help drive the sales team's efforts on the ground
Monitor and help drive sales' efforts by development of clear monitoring and accountability guidelines and tools
Co-establishment of clear sales strategies and tools with global and regional sales management
Position requirements:
Scientific degree in Molecular Biology or related fields, minimum 3-4 years lab experience
Minimum of 5-7 years proven scientific industry sales preferably in NGS or detection fields
Up to date knowledge of NGS technologies, applications, and markets
Self-motivated, highly dedicated work ethic
Excellent written and verbal communication and presentation skills
Business fluency in English & German; additional language skills desirable
Willingness to travel up to 70% (nationally and internationally)
