Graduate Pricing Actuary Life & Health (m/f)
We're looking for graduates with a strong academic record for our graduates@swissre programme. The programme
offers you the chance to join the dynamic, fast-moving world of a highly specialised financial services organisation.
Over an 18-month period, you'll receive on and off-the-job training in your role.
The opportunity
Using your understanding of statistics, you will analyse Life & Health reinsurance deals and quote a price. Working
closely with teams of client managers, underwriters, claims managers and other people who deal with large and
medium-sized European insurers, you will support new business origination, with an emphasis on transactional
business.
You'll gain in-depth insights into clients' portfolios and products, evaluate data, produce presentations and derive
sound pricing assumptions to feed into Swiss Re's economic pricing mode.
The aim is to train you for Reinsurance Products or Client Markets.
About you
Your university degree in mathematics, statistics or
actuarial science reflects your strong analytical
background, data manipulation skills and ability to
meet tight deadlines. You have a keen interest in
(re)insurance and want to become a certified
actuary.
A highly motivated team-player who is comfortable
in a multicultural environment, you're an effective
communicator with a natural flair for selling. You
also think outside the box.
Your English and German skills are excellent.
