Graduate Business Development Associate (m/f)
We're looking for graduates with a strong academic record for our graduates@swissre programme. The programme
offers you the chance to join the dynamic, fast-moving world of a highly specialised financial services organisation.
Over an 18-month period, you'll receive on-the-job training in your role.
The opportunity
You will work hands-on to originate strategic reinsurance transactions with major European insurers. In close
collaboration with client managers, structurers and underwriters, you analyse and demonstrate how reinsurance
provides value in terms of capital relief and earnings stabilisation to our clients. You gain an in-depth understanding
how different reinsurance products support insurers to manage their risk and capital position under economic,
regulatory and rating agency perspectives. This position requires both analytical and marketing skills and provides an
excellent start for a further career in client management.
About you
Your university results reflect your excellent
analytical capabilities and you have a genuine
interest in both reinsurance and capital
management. Strong communication skills allow
you to deal confidently with clients, business
partners and management. You enjoy working in a
multi-disciplinary, international team and you are
not afraid of going the extra mile.
Your command of English is excellent, additional
language skills (in particular Scandinavian
languages) are viewed favourably.
